He was born in Kilglass, 161 acres in size, co Roscommon, Athlone Barony, Kilmeane Civil Parish, Roscommon PLU. arrived in Boston Sept 15, 1844. Appeared in court May of 1846 with intent. James Duffy Merchant, Henry Cahill Trader knew James for five years. James was probably a people finder as his name is used appx 6 times in these ads, the O'Connor name may just be a coincidence.
