My name is Claud Miller Sanford Jr. and my 5th greatgrand father, Adam Miller dauther's, Elizabeth and Anna married John and Jacob Baer sons of Jagely Jacob Baer and Fronica Good. My records indicated that Jagely Baer is also my 5th Greatgrand father.
My son Mark Sanford (mssanfo@clds.net) and myself have recently begun to research our family and found John Seay home page with his Baer line. John indicates on his home page that you three were the sources for most of his information on the Baer line.
I would like to share and exchange information with you. I'm not sure if all the relastionship we have are correct and would also like to exchange sources of information if that is possible.
The information I have on the Baer line is being extracted from hand written notes and genealogy tree's that my grandmother Nina Estell Miller, the daughter of SPH Miller and Sallie Baer) developed sometime in the 1950's. Not sure of the sources of her information. Her notes have been in the family, but long lost, and just recently came into my hands...
Enclosed below is the information I have now on the Bear line... Some of the early data is probably information extracted from John Seay homepage.. As I indicated we've just started rooting and are very happy to run to family so quickly.

Claud Miller SANFORD Sr died on 11 Jul 1989 in Leesville, SC.4,13 He was cremated on 12 Jul 1989 in Columbia, SC.14 Memorial services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wittenburg Lutheran Church by the Rev. David J. Butler. The remains were scattered over (mountain name here) in NC by his family. He was a Teacher 1942 at the beginning of WWII in Washington D. C..15 He taught radio theory for the Army Signal Corps. He was a Radio Frequency (RF) Signal Engineer 1944 to 1969 in Towson, Maryland.16 Initially worked in the Engineering Department, Receiver Engineering, Section 62, for Bendix Radio. He helped development mobile communications to include providing communication for President Harry Truman's aircraft. He also worked on such things as railroad communications, ship to shore communications and other sensitive communications projects for the government during WWII. He was born 26 Feb 1916 at 9:40 PM in Greenwood SC.4,12 He was ill with Ostiomalitis as an adolescent.17 He was also known as Sandy.14 He was educated.13 He graduated from Greensville High School in SC and attended Mars Hill College in NC. He then became a Warrant Officer in 1969. He retired at the top of his field as a Chief Warrant Officer Four in 1986 and continues to work in the same field for the National Security Agency (NSA).
