  Ben married second Mabel Fern Ackley on 23 JAN 1928, in Angola, IN.
 Fern was the daughter of Frank and Hattie (Eckel) Ackley, of Freesoil, MI.
  After many years living in Sylvania, OH, on "Richmond Road", Ben moved
 his growing family to a small farm outside Ida, MI. Members of the
 family continue to reside their today (1994).
  Ben was a machine repairman at the Dana Corp, in Toledo, and a member
 of Local 23, United Auto Workers, when he died of lung cancer 7 MAR
 1961. He was also a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Summerfield,
 MI.
