a. Note:   e and use of J.S.Nichols Dirt and Grease Mover. It was given September 1,1911 in the county of Coryell. The formula for 40 lbs--Good bar soap 5 lbs; Gold Dust1/2 lbs; Rub No More 1 package; Pearline 1/2 lb; borax 1/2 lb;. Dissolve in 4 gallons of boiling water. When cool will make 40 lbs of the best soft soap. To make hard boil for one hour and add 1 lb of Sal Soda. Make moulds to fit your fancy. It will take on the color of the soap used. In order to dissolve soap quickly cut up fine before putting in the boiling water. To wash soak overnight in suds from this soap. Rub freely on dirty spots. Rinse with two waters. We useno washing machine. To clean dirty paint take the dry soap on a sponge or brush and rub paint and work well which will loosen the dirt after which rinse withcold water. Grease and tar can be removed in the same manner.
