 purchasing 106 acres of land which he cleared and improved. It is now owned and occupied by his grandson, Harvey Noble. His wife, whose maiden name was Moore, was a native of Ireland, they reared a family of six children, namely:
 William; John; Rosa, who married James Hindman; Polly; James, and Jane.
