Note: Last Will and Testament of John C. Noble. East Franklin Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Entered into Will Book March 24 1896, Estate #5602, Armstrong Co.,Courthouse. As directed by the last will and testament of my father, James Noble, late of East Franklin township, Armstrong county, Pa. I do make choice of the south one half of the farm which we live on in East Franklin Twp. and land which I make choice of bordering on the south by lands of J.M.Wible and Thomas Hayes. The division line to be a straight line, to be far enough north to include one half of the farm and to be as near parallel to with the south line as possible. The line of the east and west ends of said divided land which should be of an equal length. It is my desire, that if said land, or the coal privileges, can be sold to a good advantage, that another larger and more convenient piece of land be purchased. All deeds for such purchased lands to be made to my five children, herein after named, share and share alike. I do give and bequeath to my wife, Melissa, the land which I have here in above chosen, as long as she remains my widow, and at her death or remarrage, to be divided between my children. Lizzie Bell, James Ralph, David Ransow, Martha E , and Laura Jane. Share and share alike. If I should not have enough money to pay all my debts and funeral expenses, I order that enough of my personal property be sold at private sale to satisfy all such claims. I do give all my personal property not needed for the payment of debts to my wife and children to be kept or disposed of at their discretion. spaces between words---illegible--
