Note: N230 1880 census, Walton, Co., showed Sophia single at age 36. In 1891, she married Hiram Bush, a Confederate soldier, who also had married her sister, Elizabeth Ann. The two sisters are buried on each side of Hiram in Milligan Cemetery. The annual Garrett-Bush reunion is held at the Milligan Baptist Church.
