Evergreen Ala., March 24 -- Mrs. Dicey Barlow, perhaps the oldest woman in Alabama, died at her home in this county March 20. She was born March 17, 1799, being 101 years and 3 days old. She had enjoyed remarkably good health until a year or two ago when she sustained a fall that crippled her up. Another source reported a different year of death: Died At 100 Years Old Mrs. Dicey Barlow, of Mt. Union, died on Tuesday at the unusual age of 100 years and three days. Mrs. Barlow was born on March 17, 1799, and had she lived until next January, would have lived in three centuries.
