  This story came from Mr. Buck Johnson of Holt. (His son is principal of Baker School). As a child, he knew Uncle Arthur. He told me that one day he went up to the mill, and Uncle Arthur asked him if he wanted to go fishing. They looked into the waters of the creek and saw two nice trout. There was no fishing pole around. Uncle Arthur picked up a long strong stick, took close aim, and struck both fish, stunning them. He then reached into the water and collected the fish.
