Note: N577 I believe Harriet to be the daughter of Robert. McKinnon's "History of Walton Co." speaks of Robert's son-in-law, Dan Powell. 1840 Dale Co., AL census showed Daniel Powell, living not far from Josiah and Chasey, with ages for each between 20/30. 1850 Coffee Co. census, p. 726: (Dale was renamed in that decade) with Daniel and his family listed. All ages are compatible with earlier records. The 1840 census did show an extra female - 10/15, too old to be a child of Daniel. Who is she? Sister Chacey named a daughter, Harriet.
