Note: N586 Robert Hart lived with his son Josiah as shown in the 1840, 1850 census. There was no female of the age to be his wife. I am guessing she died before 1830, because there was no female adult in the household that year. Some say her last name was Henley, but I find absolutely no source or documentation for that. There is a record circulating on Ancestry.com that his wife was a Margaret Peggy Henley, daughter of a John Edmund Henley. Nobody shows any documentation of this. The family of John Edmund Henley is listed on WorldConnect, and it does not contain a daughter named Margaret or Peggy. (Peggy is, of course, the nickname for Margaret). Until proof of this Margaret is shown to me, I do not include her in my database. I would be thrilled to find Robert’s wife, so I am open to further evidence. Also, an 1820 Gwinnett, Georgia census record is used to support the claim. However, It has a Peggy Hart living completely alone, with no children or husband. Robert Hart was living in Beaufort Co., Georgia that year, with a female listed of the age to be his wife.
