He moved onto the lant in 1890 and gained title in 1895. The family became Mormons before 1900. John was baptized in 1896, as well as his brother Marion. (Mormon church records) 1900 census gives his month, year of birth as June, 1855. Living in Pct.8, Santa Rosa Co., Florida, birthdates for the entire family. Named an heir on receipt of sale of his mother,Elizabeth's property in 1904. Found in1910 census. Farmer. Deathdate: Estate settlement. He died intestate.
