a. Note:   N1722 The 1850 and 1860 census for Coffee Co. AL show Margaret with her parents,but the 1860 census calls her "Martha". Both of these censuses give her birthplace as Georgia, with the younger children all being born in Alabama.
  Margaret and her own family are found in the 1870 census, Butler Co., Alabama, next to her parents, David and Elizabeth Kelley. Her age in 1870 was 37, but all the ages were wrong that year.
  The 1900 Walton Co., FL census shows the month and date of Margaret's birth, and also reports her age by the number of years, which match.
  The 1910 Walton Co., FL census found her living on the Laurel Hill and Crestview Road with her daughter, Lizzie Lawrence, and her family. Margaret was 65 and a widow. She was named an heir on the receipt of sale of Elizabeth's property. Margaret's burial is recorded in the Santa Rosa Co. cemetery books. The birthdate is different from what she gave in 1900. It is also incompatible with the 1850 census.
