Notes
a. Note:   N2242 I know for a fact that they are buried in Geneva county per the  information that has been handed down by their daughter Mary Powell Laton to her daughter Victoria and to my father as well as in family bibles. From the last census I appears that their daughter Susan E. also cared for Kader until he passed away sometime after 1880. Emaline passed away prior to him sometime between 1870 and 1880.   "Cader" Powell was first found in the 1840 Dooly Co. Georgia census. The marriage of Kader and Emeline Fowler Powell is on record in several references. On May 1849, Eveline and "Kader" Powell became charter members of the Providence Baptist Church, Clayhatchee, Dale Co., AL. On Nov. 23, 1850, Thornton requested letters of dismissal for himself, his wife, and his daughters, Jane and Nancy, and Kader Powell and wife, suggesting a move away from that area. "Decatur" Powell and Emeline were found in the Coffee Co. AL 1860 census. In 1854, Cader Powell purchased 319 acres in Section 10, T5, Range 18, Covington Co., AL. This may not be our Cader, unless he moved before 1860.
