Note: N2260 Thomas enlisted in the Sixth Florida Infantry, Co. K 3/8/1862 at Vernon. He was hospitalized in Columbus GA in late 1864 and paroled 5/15/1865 in Tallahassee. He was 5’10”, dark hair, blue eyes, light skin, and his occupation was laborer. (Biographicl Rosters of Florida’s Confederate and Union Soldiers 1861 - 1865, by Hartman) V. II, p. 678 In addition to his father’s census records, Thomas J. was shown in the Santa Rosa Co., FL 1870, p. 556 census, 1880 sheet 69 census, and 1900 census.
