a. Note:   N160 Although her death reg has birthplace as Santa Rosa County, Florida, she was born in Alabama. Her parents and grandparents were listed in the 1850 PikeCo., Alabama census. They moved to Florida Nancy could not read or write. 1860 census showed her 30 years old, but the 1880 census showed her 54. She was on the 1880 census, but must have deceased by 1896, when George filed homestead papers that stated he was living with just his daughter.
