Alabama 1920 Parker, Alabama: I could not find Curtis Howard that year. I searched the entire Parker database including the neighbors he had been near in 1910. Either he was missed, or the family have moved away for a time. 1930 Parker, Escambia, Alabama census, HH#1 Howard, Curtis H., head, 50, m. 1st time at 24, laborer in sawmill, b. NC, as well as both parents Florida, wife, 44, m. at 16, she and parents b. Alabama Lizzie Mae, 16 Lela, 13 Thomas M., 6 James D., 3 yrs 9 mos. Oral family history relates that Curtis Howard just showed up one day, coming from North Carolina.
