  Fred E. Cramer, 75, former Leaf River resident, died Tuesday, December 28, 1993, at his home in Melbourne, FL. Born January 18, 1918 in Leaf River, son of Louis and Jane Hoverland Kramer. Married Pearl M. Porter in Rockford, December 23, 1967. Farmed in Egan, IL area many years. Also employed by Sundstrand Corp., Rockford, before retiring. Moved to Florida in 1983. Former member of Leaf River United Methodist Church, attended Melbourne United Methodist Church in Florida. Survivors include his wife, Pearl; two sons, Evan (Raina) Cramer, Algonquin, and Earl (Michelle) Cramer, Prairie Du Sac, WI; daughter, Linda (Robert) Newcomer, Leaf River; three sisters, Helen Reber, Byron, and Dorothy Stine and Nellie Mae (Paul) Wilson, all of Rockford; stepdaughters, Jane McCammond of Tampa, FL and Joan (Denny) Frisk, London, KY; stepsons, James (Deanne) Porter, Tucson, AZ, Emmett (Nancy) Porter, Jerry (Artie) Porter and Jeryl (Debbie) Porter, all of Gainesville, FL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
  Services at 1:30 p.m., Friday December 31 in Farrell-Holland Funeral Home, 506 W. Merchant St., Byron, with the Rev. Carlton Easley, pastor of North Grove Christian Church, Egan, officating. Burial in Lightsville Cemetery, Leaf River. Visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial is being established.
