Notes
a. Note:   >From "History of Barnard, Vermont with Family Genealogies 1761-1927 in Two Volumes by William Monroe Newton - Volume II - Genealogical"
"Another family in Barnard was the Lemuel Spooner family which lived not
far from the Turkey Hollow schoolhouse where in 1855 he was living just
north of the school. He was the son of Gardner and Deborah (Shaw)
Spooner, who came from Dartmouth to Woodstock, VT. in 1782 and where
 Gardner died."

I have nothing on Deborah (Shaw) - only Barnard, Vt. reference is as quoted above - also History of Hardwick, MA does not include this Shaw
 family.

 Dear Dee
I checked the Spooner genealogy CD and discovered on the next page I had
 left out several
children of Gardner Spooner and Deborah Shaw. I have deleated the birth
 date of 1742 for
Deborah Shaw since she would have been 57 when Sally was born.
