 Dee:
 A starting point for clues to your research on the family of Gardner Spooner would be the book THE RECORDS WILLIAM SPOONER OF PLYMOUTH,
 MASS., AND HIS DESCENDANTS, by Thomas Spooner; published in 1883. This
 book is a compilation, and not a primary resource, but it has much good
 information.
 On page 74 and 161, your Gardner is listed, both as a child, and with his wife and 13 children. It lists the parents of Deborah Shaw as Blake
 and Mary Shaw. Other descendants of the 13 children are also contained
 therein. I would be willing to send you a photocopy of those two pages.
 Be advised also, that this book is on microfilm at the Family History
 Library in Salt Lake City. It may be ordered through your nearest local
 branch of that library (Family History Center). There are numerous
 Pratts listed in this volume, as well. I recommend you getting the film. I was fortunate enough to find this book in a used book store a
 few years ago.
