He was Born in Fullerton, Orange, California 25 Dec 1895. His Dad (Homer Charles James) & he were traveled to North California From Pomona, California to Oregon to called "Wagon Tramp or Road Lizzard". where they were settle in Oregon then his Dad left him when he was 13 years old to live on his own life. He acknowledge in his way. He went to France in world war I to fight with German Soldiers after that he went back to his old way to start with own ranch and married to Louise Ann Bartheld in Oct 13 Oct 1917 to make raised five kids then got divorced him for good because of he always moved a place to place look like nomadic and his wife fed up with him then never see him again then he has been married four times but all divorced. He used to live in Grant Pass, Oregon where raised ranch for many years. His daughter, Althaea Miettunen told him to do it to write it about his life and made published book of "Hanging and Ratting by author Dulcimer Nielson. After that he decided to go to Costa Rica to see his son, Worthen Edward James, where he lived in Costa Rica, Central American. Worthen Ezekiel James, He died 5 August 1984 age of 89 years old and buried in San Jose, Costa Rica, Central American. His Grandfather, Richard Gordon James live in Howell,Michigan now.
