 Tabitha Eleanor Smalley may be a sister fo Elizabeth Jane Smalley(b. 1848) who married Martha Welch's brother in law, Jacob Miller Nodurft. Jacob and Elizabeth also came to Rice Co, KS for a while.. In Elizabeth Jane's obit. Nov 1925, Wausaukee, WI, it states she was the dtr. of Wm. Smalley and --------Blevins. As a child she lived in Round Rock, TX.(note that Tabitha's 1885 census record says she was born in TX). The parents died from pnemonia on a return move to Williamsport, IN. Elizabeth was raised by Zara Stearns. Her living survivors in 1925 were sisters, Mrs Olive Tolly of Hoopeston, IL and Mrs Elizabeth Miller of Armstrong, IL and a brother BC Smalley of Hammond, IN. Tabitha is not mentioned.(Tabitha did name her first daughter, Elizabeth Jane)
