Note: William worked for Lyons Milling Co. Lyons, KS for many years then went to work for H.C. Baker Shoe Co. A Mr. Parker was the manager of the shoe company and William and Mr. Parker's wife ran away together to California where they lived together until his death. He never divorced his wife.
William was reportedly a "dandy", well dressed and very different from the rest of the family.
