Note: E. Harold Miller (he was always known by his middle name) was born in Iowa, where he met and married Wilma Pellersels, Miss Sac City, 1932. In 1936 he moved to California with his father and mother, pregnant wife, and one year old twin babies. He was a skilled "metal man", and after arriving in San Diego he obtained a good job as a welder. The family remained in San Diego throughout the war years, and in 1945 Harold entered the Army just before the end of the war. In 1956 he moved his family to Los Gatos California where he was the owner of the Los Gatos Body Shop. He was a good businessman--always fair to his employees. He was a good mechanic, and worked on cars all of his life. He rode a motorcycle until he was too weak to hold one up, and he loved Chrysler cars. He loved speed, drove too fast, but never got into an accident. He lived to fish, and during the later part of his life he had a reputation for catching the "Big Ones" around Lake Mead in Nevada near his retirement home. People used to look for Harold around the lake so that he could teach them how to fish. He wore a large button on his vest that said "Kiss My Bass", and that sort of describes his personality. He loved a good laugh. He also loved his family, and his extended family--took many trips to visit nephews and long lost family members. He was as he said, "...the last of my people", but only because he was the last of Dollie Miller's children to pass from this life. He is buried at the Los Gatos Memorial Cemetery in Northern California.
