Note: Was a fireman on the coal burning locomotives and later an engineer on the diesel engine trains for the Pennsylvania Railroad up to several years before his death. He was a Grand Master of the Masons. He served many years as the president of the Birdsboro Sportsmen club. An active hunter and one of the charter members and founder of the Green Briar Hunting Club in Centre County., Pa.
