 Was surfing through Rootsweb last night and found your details regards TOWNS. My Mum's Towns came from Stevington in Bedforshire UK, and her Gt Gt Grandfather, Richard came to Australia with his wife Ruth, he did have a brother William in England we know of,His parents were Henry Towns and Mary Knight. Richard was born in 1821, and married Ruth in 1839 in England. They sailed to Australia on the Ship the "Elizabeth" in 1845.
