Note: 30's. After they parted she joined the Navy and was trained at the Navy base in Stillwater Oklahoma. She was stationed in the Keys as a Navy wave Yeoman. After her discharge from the Navy she worked as a County clerk in Dade County. She was very active in the Luthran church with the childrens programs. She was a Sunday school teacher and played the piano. She was also very much involved with the PTA at Roberts school. In her spare time she loved to cook and garden.
