Note: Larry was a very friendly, jovial person who loved his children. He liked to play cards with his kids and take them on drives in the country. He was also a very good cook, specializing in "homestyle" Kentucky cooking--sausage and gravy, turkey and dressing, etc. He worked as a computer systems analyst for the government at Blue Grass Army Depot in Lexington, KY. He retired on disability due to his alcoholism. He was buried at the Cornett family cemetery on his father's property at Upper Second Creek, Hazard, Perry County, KY. His estate was probated by his daughter, Carla Jean Cornette Briscoe, in the Fayette County District Court in Lexington, KY.
