a. Note:   10. They left Sweden on April 19th on a ship called the "Empress of Britain". The voyage took 9 days - 3 to cross the North Sea & 6 on the Atlantic. The landed on the shores of Quebec. During WWI this boat was sunk.
 Within a 3 year period they lived in Fenwood Melville & Sturgis. In 1913 they moved to the homestead in the Robinson Creek district.
 Maria (Mary) died from cancer is in buried in the Poplar Grove Cemetery.
