Note: !DOB: Katherine Rice Martel interview with writer. OBITUARY: LYLE A. RICE, 45, a former resident of Kansas City, KS died Sunday
at the home in Seattle. Rice, a Navy veteran sufferd a heart attack one day
after being discharged from the Navy after 17 years of service. He was a
Mason. Surviving are his wife, Alma Rice of the home; his mother Mrs. Daisy
Rice, Rossville, KS, two brothers, Frank Rice, Culver City, CA; Lloyd Rice,
White City, OR, and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Tush, Ventura, CA; and Mrs.
Katherine Martel, 7604 65th Merriam, KS. Services and Burial will be held
Wednesday in Seattle.
