He had been doing the things that he enjoyed doing that day. Helping a neighbor build a house and he had just finished putting a new roof on his home and completed a new septic tank project. He died at home in his wife's arms and was then transported by ambulance to the local hospital. Music at the funeral service had been chosen by Jim - a harmonica and guitar played Amazing Grace and the Old Rugged Cross. Allison Wiedbusch was born about 6 months later in Illinois. Jim raised Rocky Ridge Shorthorns established by his grandfather and father. He loved the land, his animals and his family with a deep passion that adversity only strengthened. This love and commitment has continued through his family.
