a. Note:   ntucky Mounted Infantry. Asa Harmon was killed,(while on furlough, or after his discharge in December of 1864) at home in Pike County by a group of Hatfields, led by Jim Vance, because Asa had joined the Union Army. His wife and children buried him in a shallow (the ground was frozen) unmarked grave in a cemetery where Delorme(Edgarton), WV - across from Freeburn, KY - now stands. The N & W Railway moved the marked graves of the cemetery and poured concrete over the unmarked ones when they ran the railroad through that area.
 (Asa Harmon's son, Larkin, later helped kill Jim Vance during the feud at Grapevine Creek, WV.)
