He was with the group that came into Salt Lake Valley, 28 July 1847 ; four days after Brigham Young's group. He was living in Ogden in Dec. (21 Dec 1850) He was in the Salmon Mission Group in 1853- He lived in Providence in 1859 and was one of the first settlers ther e. with William Fife's family, and John Francis Maddison' family.
