 izabeth.
 Children; William; 1825, Jackson, 1827, Samuel, 1829, and Mary Ann, 1
 831, who
 married John Fausett, died 3 Aug 1906. Children all born in Missouri.
 The second wife of Stephen, Abigail Harris, had a son named Stephe n,
 born 1851 in Provo; died 1876 in Salt Lake.

 Nancy was part Indian, also believed to be a woman doctor. The thre

 not wish to accompany their father to Utah, and they ran away while i
 n Nauvoo.
 The family knows nothing of them. Some relatives in Quincy, Ill ar
 e believed to
 have hidden them from their father.
 Family believed to have left Nauvoo about 1848.
