Note: Jeff and Julia never had any children of their own but did help raise several family members children. Some of the children were Vernon Williams (adopted) Julia Scott, Richard Jefferson Scott and Dorie Alice Scott (all adopted). The word adopted was on several portraits that Pat Sampson has in her possession which are in her book.
