Note: sted labove. the records of his service are mostly in connection with his capture and death. he was captured on December 18, 1864 at franklin, tennessee, neat nashville. tenn. on december 23, 1864 he died on december 29, 1964 with pneumonia. he was listed as single, 33 years old, born in south carolina, next of kin was michael fillyard of thomas county, georgia .he was buried in grave #10785 at nashville city cemetery.
