Note: 861 at savannah,ga.(on muster roll from oct 4th -oct 31,1861).he is shown as on sick leave during 31,1861. no further records are in file at the archives. howecer on the roster list at thethomasville,ga. court house, he is recorded as having been captured on dec 16,1863. (this was the same date that george was captured near franklin,tennessee.) the same roster states that he died in prison in 1864. we have not been able to verify these records yet.
