Note: Found information under the International Genealogical Index/North America #28 Levi Perkins Gender Male Marriage 14 Mar 1844 Rushville, Rush, Indiana Spo use Nancy Pea Batch #8508004 also found information in Levi Genforum letter 3341 by Denise [email protected]@surfcityla.net On October 21, 2001 a Steve Collins pos ted the following email into the Pea Family Gen Forum is response to a letter that I had previously posted: From Steve Collins Subj: Nancy Pea and Levi Per kins Message 113 David, Levi was born in 1820 Delaware Co., Indiana (Later Ru sh County) in 1820, he died in 1852. He was a jailer in Rush Co. at his dea th. Nancy then took over as the jailer and did that for the next nine years. Nancy died 26 Mar. 1901 in Rushville. They are both buried in the East Hill Cemetery, Rushville Twp. (Township). Nancy has a very good obit if you can so mehow acquire it. Their were twelve children in her parents family. Her paren ts were George & Elizabeth (Neill) Pea. My direct Line is her brother Levi. ////////// The 1850 US Census for Rush IN shows Levi, his wife Nancy (Pea) age 29, his son Elsbury age 9, and his daughter (My Great Grandmother) Laura ag e 2.
