Note: He worked for Procter and Gamble in the Kettle House. He took a correspondence course and later became a supervisor in the kettle house. In 1927 he bought and moved into a new home at 1827 Avonlea Avenue in Bond Hill. He bowled two or three nights a week. On the twenty-fifth anniversary in 1934 the piano was moved to the dining room, the rug was rolled up for dancing and the windows were open. There was also an anniversary dinner at the Swiss Gardens for the immediate family on the 25th. anniversary. Swiss Gardens was located at California and Reading Road.
