Note: Vera L. Stacy married Charles Bacon in 1936. They had three children, all boys. He committed suicide some years later, I think, while they were still married. Not sure about that. She married Dick Stacy in 1946 in Tulsa. They moved to Kansas City, MO. She worked for 30 years for Grinnell Plumbing Co. in Kansas City, where she was head of the bookkeeping department for more than 30 years. When she retired, Dick had died and she moved back to Claremore near relatives. She and Dick had no children.
She had several heart attacks for a month or more and was in and out of the hospital in Claremore. She had blocked arteries but they could not get her stable enough to do bypass surgery. She died in Claremore on June 27, 1997.
