 There is mention in the newspapers of the time of the death of a John
 Wardle, who died in Central Falls, R.I. at the age of 70, on September
 21, ?.
 There is also mention of a William Wardle, over 80 years old, a Civil War
 Veteran, going to a G.A.R. affair accompanied by his granddaughter. If
 he was 17 at the start of the Civil War (1860), then his birth would be
 about 1843 and1923 when he died. Would he be a brother to Mary Wardle and
 also John Wardle?
