Notes
a. Note:   Wade was born in Tiffin Ohio but moved to Seattle Washington with father about 1912-14. He ran away from home at 13 and often lived with his favorite aunt's family. He moved to Los Angeles California when aunt moved there. Father and family moved back to Tiffin about 1918 or so. Wade was always a go getter and although he had hard times during the depression when he and Mary and son Harold moved in with Mary's family, he always worked hard. He got involved with the WPA and learned skills that allowed him to get a job with a construction company RJ Daum during the war. Wade worked hard and made RJ Daum successful, when Mr. Daum died, he took over the company and it did exceedingly well during the 50's and early 60's. Wade and Mary travelled the world including trips to Mexico, Hawaii, Hong Kong and Cuba. They lived in beautiful homes on Garth in Los Angeles and overlooking thunderbird country club outside of Cathedral City near Palm Springs. Wade had a heart attach in 1958 or so and then got rheumatoid arthritis which left him crippled for many years. He retired in the 60's and eventually moved to Palm Springs where he continued to play golf at Thunderbird Country Club. As the disease progressed he was forced to live in a rest home with Mary visiting him daily. He struggled many years with the disease taking Cortisone and pain killers which eventually killed him in 1974. Wade was a generous man, always willing to help friend or family. He got jobs for many family members and helped his mother and sister's family. He loved to golf, drove fast cars and had an airplane in the 1950's until he became ill. Wade loved life and lived it to the fullest.
