a. Note:   Alfred Tennyson Melrose graduated from Carmen High School in May, 1925. Married Jennie Margaret Whiteneck August 22, 1926 in Aline, Oklahoma. One son. Divorced. Married Irene Olive Lebow on December 2, 1944 at Enid, Oklahoma. Irene was born February 9, 1916 in Hennessy, Oklahoma. In 1952 Irene and Larry moved to California along with her mother (Lulu Lebow) and brother (Everett Lebow). Alfred died August 16, 1956 after being an invalid for a number of years. His grave is in Carmen Cemetery, Carmen, Oklahoma. Irene never remarried. One son.
