 A.B. was b. Feb 1881 in Ozark, AL, d. Dec 22, 1951 in Defuniak Springs, FL. He was first married to Delphia Hicks, of the Covington Co. area of Alabama. A.B.& Lena had 2 children: Jacob D. & Joy Lindsey. Joy married Arthur Goolsby, lived in DeFuniak. J.D. married Opal E.Short of Covington Co. Al. A.B. was a barber in Andalusia, AL. He was also a carpenter and lived next the M.R. Short family in River Falls, AL, while doing "mill work". A.B. had 3 children with 1st wife, Delphia: Daisy m.Allie W. White; Henry m. Buna ?; Pearl m. Fred G. Wimbish. Daisy & Allie White lived in FL; Henry & family lived near Albany, GA; Pearl & Family lived in Albany, GA.Notes on Augus Berry Lindsey
 He and Lena are buried at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery a few
 miles south of New Brockton, AL. His sister, Rosa Danford is also
 buried there.
 A.B. Lindsey and family lived next door to Riley and Elvie Short in Lakewood, FL. That's how Mama and Daddy met. Mama was 6 yrs. old, and
 Daddy's sister, Joy, was 3 yrs. old. My grandfathers, both of them,
 worked for Britton Lumber Co.
 Mama describes A.B., called "Ang" (pronounced like "bang"), as
 short, but long-waisted, and though not fat, wide through the
 "backside". He was also called "Satchel". He was a barber, in
 Andalusia, AL, and carpenter. His obituary reads:
 "DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Dec. 22, 19?? (Early 1950's)
 Funeral services for Angus Berry Lindsey, 70, will be in Bethany
 Church near Enterprise, Alabama, Saturday at 2:30 PM, with the Rev.
 Virgil Gardner, pastor of the First Baptist Church of DeFuniak
 Springs, officiating. Mr. Lindsey, a retired carpenter died Friday
 morning. A native of Alabama, he had lived in DeFuniak Springs [for]
 five years.
 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lena Ramer Lindsey; one daughter,
 Mrs. Arthur Goolsby, DeFuniak Springs; one son, J.D. Lindsey, Altha;
 one brother, Lark Lindsey, Ozark, Ala.; and one sister, Mrs. Rosa Danford, New Brockton, Ala. Thompson Funeral Home has charge of
 arrangements."

 married to Phillip S. Hogan children: 1. stepson, Kyle Hogan 2. daughter: Hannah Lindsay Hogan b. 1/11/2002
  2. Shirley Jean Lindsey ... married with 4 children, 6 grandchildren
