Note: as b. in 1828 in Ala. He m. (1) Martha Brock, daughter of Leonard C. Brock and Mary Catherine Mercer. Martha was b. in 1828 in Fla. They were living in Old Town in 1860. Martha died of dropsy May 18, 1860 after giving birth to Sally. (2) Elvy Boynton, daughter of Daniel Boynton, around 1860. She was b. March 1830, Ala. She is on the 1860 census living with Deckson Weeks and his wife Susan Fleming. William owned a plantation of at least 2,000 acres. William d. before 1864 and is buried in Harrison Cemetery in a now unmarked grave. In 1880 Elvy was living with her daughter Polly. Elvy d. after Jan. 1920. Oct. 31, 1864: Elvy Harrison filed her application to be appointed administrator of the estate of William A. Harrison, deceased. It was ordered that she be appointed administrator. Dec. 2, 1864: Elvy Harrison presented her inventory and appraisement of the estate. She filed application asking for the authority to keep said estate together until the oldest distribute of the estate became of age, which would be in about five years from date. It was ordered that Elvy Harrison, be authorize to keep together the real and personal property of the estate of William A. Harrison, deceased, until the Dec. 2, 1869. April 11, 1866: Elvy Harrison, presented vouchers, and evidences for partial settlement of the estate. Wiley Williams was appointed to act a guardian ad sitem for the interest of Nancy Ann, Martha Jane, John Pleasant, Betsey Jane, Polly, Salley, and Moses Harrison, Minor children of the decedent. May 27, 1866: Elvy Harrison filed for partial settlement of her administration. It was found that the said administratrix had received in confederate money notes and in cattle and stock to the amount of three hundred and fifty nine dollars (only the cattle and horse being of any value) that she had justly expended in and about the cost and charges and paying just debts of the deceased, the sum of two hundred and three dollars, leaving in her hands the sum of one hundred and fifty six dollars in cattle and a horse. Nov. 27, 1867: Elvy Harrison filed her statement for a partial settlement of said administration. April 1862, Ala.; d. Nov. 1891 10.Moses Harrison - b. about 1863 Bud Harrison, son of William A. Harrison and Martha Brock, was b. Aug. 11, 1847 in Kinston, Dale (later Coffee) Co., Ala. He m. (1) Jane Russell. She d. in 1868 of yellow fever. (2) Aug. 1870, Alabama, Georgia Ann Elizabeth Cleghorn, daughter of Eli Thomas Cleghorn and Lenora (Nora) Barkes (a Creek Indian). Georgia's first husband was Mr. Creech. He d. from a rattlesnake bite. They had a son Richard C. Creech. Georgia was born Aug. 1, 1846, in Kinston, Ala and d. Oct. 10, 1929 in Kinston, Alabama. William d. March 30, 1921, Geneva Co., Ala. Both are buried at Harrison Cemetery, Ala. Jan. 7, 1869: William filed application for his share of his fathers estate. Jan. 21, 1869: William asked for himself and of Martha Jane and Betsey Jane Harrison, for their share of the estate.
