Notes
a. Continued:   DESCENDANTS OF JOHN HALL
Most of the info is from census records except as noted. John Washington Hall was born in 1767 in SC and died after 1850. I received the middle name, Washington from the wife of another descendant, Cindy Leonard. John married Sarah (Hill?) (Anderson?) who was born in 1780 in Delaware. Sarah also died after 1850. In 1850, they were living in Coffee County, AL. I found a marriage record of a John Hall who married Sarah Anderson Mar 02, 1796 in Rowen County, NC.---the ages and dates are close enough to be a match----not sure!!! Cindy sent me the name Hill as Sarah's maiden name? I believe this John and Sarah Hall are the great grandparents of my John G. Hall, Sr. ("Grandpa Hall").
The children I have listed for John and Sarah are from census records, based on location, dates and place of birth. Even though this is in agreement with what a couple of other researchers have also found, it needs more research.
 Their Children:
  1. John Hall was born in1795 in the MS Territory. Some researchers have this
John as the father of John G. Hall, listing him as being married twice--
 (1) to Elizabeth Harrison, daughter of Wm. and Martha Harrison,
divorced and (2) to Elizabeth Harrison, daughter of Wm. "Grancer." I have copies of more than one document that place Grancer's son-in-law's date of birth sometime around 1818. One was dated Dec 10, 1850 and stated that he was 35 years old; another is an
application that Grancer's daughter, Elizabeth filed in the early 1890s when she was trying to get her husband's Creek Indian War Pension.
On the app., she stated that her husband was born in GA in 1818
and that theirs was the first marriage for both of them (see attachment).
In 1850 there is a John Hall age 55 born in Mississippi, listed as the Head of Household with Grancer's Elizabeth and her children,
but if these documents are correct then this John is not her husband.
The first Elizabeth Harrison, that I was told was the daughter of Wm and Martha, was born in 1790 in SC and died after 1850. In the 1850 Coffee Co., AL Census, she was living with in the HH listed below.
John Hall age 35 born in GA. (This is the same age and place of
birth of Grancer's son-in-law, according to the documents)
 Martha age 38
  George W. age 17 John age 15
 Standley age 13
 James age 11
 Alexander age 9
 Elizabeth age 7
 Elias age 5
 Matthew age 2
 Francis Hall (male) age 22
Elizabeth Hall age 60 born in SC (According to other researchers' info
this is Wm and Martha's daughter?)
  2. Quiller W. Hall was born in 1806 in the MS Territory. His name is sometimes listed as Quillen, but my great grandfather John G. Hall, Sr. named one of his sons after him and that son's name was Quiller. Quiller was the
surname of some people living in the area, there might be some
relationship between these families. Quiller married Gincy Brown. Gincy was born Apr 20, 1813 in GA. They were married in about
1830. Her maiden name, birth date and some of the children's info was
given to me by another researcher.
 Their Children:
  i. John A. Hall born about 1832 in AL
ii. Mary I. Hall born about 1834 in AL
iii. Charles M. Hall born about 1835 in AL married Narcissa
 Elizabeth Cole. Their Children:
 a. Amanda E. Hall born about 1858 in Coffee Co., AL
 b. Noah Hall born about 1860 in Coffee Co., AL
 c. Tom Hall born about.1862 in Coffee Co., AL
iv. Sarah G. (or E.) Hall born about1837 in AL
 v. Martha Hall born about 1840
