a. Note:   HISTMETHODIST I have land transactions for RICHARD O. PAULL from the years 1850 -1892 (total of 6) selling lands in theREMSEN- BURG PATENT (lots74 and75)and JERSEYFIELD PATENT. I have reserached Census records directories of the area. The history of the
 Paul / Paull family wrote in 1886 EDWIN PAUL from WISCONSIN has been a great help for proving what I have already found to be true. This history was told to Edwin by Richard himself. It is still unclear to me what death date is correct.(1894 or 1897). It seems that although
 Richard is listed as being born in the T.Fairfield, he may have never moved, (?) with the changing of the towns areas and names it has been a bit confussing. So to say either would be the correct place of birth. (?) Ido know that his father came to Herkimer co. about 1800 and married Cleona Spenser both haveing died in the town of Wilmurt.
 It is said in the history that Richard ran a HOTEL in the area for a few years.
