Note: parochial schools and also the Spencerian Business College. He learned the baker's trade with his father and in 1880 entered the employ of Johnson Bros. Baking Co. as a traveling salesman. In 1888 he became an undertaker and has since continuted in that business with much success. In 1881 he married Katie, daughter of Peter A. & Catherine Pauly of Milwaukee, and one daughter blessed the marriage, Eleanor. Mr. Schroth is a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church & Knights of Columbus. He also belongs to the Milwaukee Club.
