a. Note:   Alias:<ALIA> /Emma/ Custom Field:<_FA#> 13 Jan 1940Majors Cemetery, Poole, NE REFN: 29. I (Jerry Sweeney) vaguely remember Grandma Emma. She lived on the Decker farm south of Poole, Ne., with my uncle, Justin Sweeney. I recall when I was very young that Grandma Emma had an ornate old valentine that I was particularly attracted to. She got very senile before her death, and when I requested to look at the valentine no one could find it. It was assumed that she had hid it or destroyed it to keep me from seeing it. I barely recall seeing her on her death bed. After her death, my uncle Justin (Dick) continued to farm the Decker place. She is buried with her husband in the Majers Cemetery south of Poole, NE. She moved to Webster Co. Nebraska in 1878 then to Buffalo Co. in 1880.
