Samuel resided at Brattleboro, Windham Co., Vt.(census 1810), Wilmington, Essex Co., N.Y. 1820, Worthington, Franklin Co., Oh. (census 1840), St Albans, Liking Co., Oh. 1850, Huntington Co., Tn. in 1855. He was a farmer.
War 1812; Private in Capt. Allen Peck's Co., Maj. Reuben Sanford's Reg't. and saw srevice in battle of Plattsburg. Vol. at Wilmington, Essex Co., N.Y about Sept. 1, 1814 and discharged after the battle.
Rachael shown in 1860 census living with Edward Bratton 40, farmer, b. Oh. at Harrison Twp., Mahaska Co., Ia.
